After many years of catering, Estelita Jurado finally opened a restaurant in 1972 to serve her many homemade Mexican specialities. With the help of her two sons, Henry and David Jurado, Estelita made Casa Jurado one of El Paso’s favorite restaurants. After twenty years in the Cincinnati area, David opened a second location on Doniphan Drive. With the Cincinnati area transforming into a bar district, Henry sold the old restaurant in 2003, making Casa Jurado On Doniphan the only restaurant owned and operated by the Jurado family. Many of their delicious dishes are still prepared from Estelita’s own recipe box, including shredded beef salpicón with spicy Mexican herbs and in-house marinated chicken or beef fajitas. Meats are charbroiled over open flames. Pollo en mole, chile de arbol salsa and homemade enchilada sauces still bring customer raves. You’ll come back again and again to explore their extensive menu. Don’t forget to order an ice-cold mango margarita – fantastico! If margaritas are not your thing, don’t worry because Casa Jurado On Doniphan has a full bar to make your favorite. Catering is their legacy from Mama’s original home kitchen. Now, Casa Jaurado’s most popular menu items are available at special prices for catering your next event. Their private party room seats up to 65 people, the bar 25. Casa Jurado On Doniphan has reliable off-premise service as well. This adobe setting and genuine Mexican taste will bring you and your family back for more.
